For us, parent involvement is essential. Whether you are teaching a classroom about your heritage or native language, volunteering at the Center, or just stopping by for a visit, Lemberg depends on your collaboration to keep our curriculum rich and varied.
Things to Know About Lemberg

The Lemberg office will email parents as soon as possible when a decision has been made to have a delay or closing. Lemberg operates on Brandeis University's snow policy. If Brandeis is closed, we are closed; if Brandeis has a delay, we have a delay. Brandeis University has Weather Closures Report phone number 781-736-2625. Lemberg Office Phone will have a recorded announcement of snow closures and delays by 7am.
You must use your access cards to enter the building. The main door is kept locked at all times. More about access cards.
You must display a Lemberg parking pass on your dashboard at all times that you are parked on Old South Street. These passes are distributed at the beginning of each school year. Contact the office for a replacement pass or if vehicle information has changed.
Daily classroom activities are shared through the website for the Lemberg Children’s Center at
Kaymbu website as well as through the Kaymbu app. The platform is used for classroom and center communications. Our infant room, the Butterflies also uses for realtime communications the app:
Dailyconnect. Our educators will provide you with access to these apps and sites.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are held in October, January, February, May and June. Watch your inbox for emails from your child(ren)'s teachers for more information and to set up an appointment.
We like to celebrate each child's birthday on the day nearest the actual date. It is a special day and we want to acknowledge this. Our celebrations are low-key, and vary little for each child.
Lemberg Children's center keeps a running list of our very own TAs who are available to be hired as baby sitters! Parents are responsible for contacting the TA and setting up employment times and pay rates with them. No list is currently available online. Please contact office@lembergcc.org for a list of babysitters.
